About Cabinteely A.C.
Cabinteely Athletic Club's history follows the development of Kilbogget Park in south Dublin. Its original track was laid out in the 1970s, but membership later lapsed and the club was re-established in March 2010. The present club trains throughout the year with portable track lighting and works with local schools to introduce children to athletics.
Running, jumping and throwing are taught by a volunteer team, with younger athletes and seniors using different training groups. The club maintains waiting lists for both juvenile and senior entry, so use the joining page rather than assume a place is immediately available. Beyond training, members support community events including Darkness Into Light, the Goal Mile, the India Festival and DLR Bay 10K. Public enquiries can be sent through the club contact form or the email published by Athletics Ireland.
