About Bweeng Trail Blazers A.C.
Bweeng Trail Blazers Athletic Club is based in Bweeng, County Cork, Ireland. Athletics Ireland lists its training venue as Bweeng Community Centre in Ballyboght. Cork Athletics publishes Monday and Wednesday evening sessions there, with additional weekend runs arranged by the group.
The club organises the Bweeng Trail Blazers 5K, a road event welcoming recreational runners as well as experienced racers. Its 2026 organiser’s notice said proceeds would help complete a 200-metre track. That fundraising aim records a facilities project; it does not establish that the track has since opened.
Bweeng is also one of the four clubs behind the Rebel Diamond League, alongside Mount Hillary, Dromahane and Buttevant. The series encourages runners to support neighbouring clubs’ events. For anyone interested in joining the regular training groups, the club’s public email is the best starting point, with the county directory providing an additional telephone contact.
