Bree Athletic Club was founded in 1970 in County Wexford, Ireland. It began as a senior club but soon developed a strong juvenile focus. Its athletics programme covers sprints, hurdles, middle- and long-distance running, jumps, throws and race walking, as well as cross-country. The current Athletics Ireland listing welcomes athletes from age five onwards and identifies Ballyhogue GAA Grounds in Bree as a training base.
The club uses several local facilities, including Bree Community Centre, the Enniscorthy Hub and DMP grounds, with other sessions taking place on Bree Hill or at Curracloe Beach.
