About Blackrock (Louth) A.C.
Blackrock AC serves the coastal village of Blackrock in County Louth, Ireland. It is a separate club from Blackrock AC in Dublin. Athletics Ireland describes juvenile and senior activity across track and field, cross-country and road running, and lists Blackrock Community Centre on Sandy Lane as the training location. The county athletics directory also lists the club and its social channels.
Local events give the club a presence beyond the track: Louth Athletics' 2025 results archive includes Blackrock AC's beach races on 3 July. Volunteers are part of that community work too, with Pete Rowland named for Blackrock AC in Louth Local Sports Partnership's 2025 volunteer awards. Newcomers can use the club's directory-linked Facebook page or Athletics Ireland membership listing to ask about joining and current sessions.
