About Birr A.C.
Birr AC is based in Birr, County Offaly, Ireland. Its activities have included road running and field-event competition. Athletics Ireland’s report of the 2020 national championships records Ebony Hogan winning both senior and under-23 gold in the women’s weight-for-distance event while representing Birr.
The club has also contributed to the Offaly Road Race Series. Its 2022 five-kilometre race formed the final round, with event registration at Birr Rugby Club, as documented by timing and entry provider Pop Up Races. That race headquarters should not be confused with the club’s regular training location.
The current national directory lists the seniors’ training base at Riverside, Syngefield Retail Park, and provides membership registration, a direct contact, Facebook and Instagram links. Ask the club about the group and venue appropriate to you; the seniors’ location does not establish a meeting point for every age group.
