About Barrow Valley A.C.
Barrow Valley Athletic Club serves Old Leighlin in County Carlow, Ireland. Its Athletics Ireland club page lists Old Leighlin Community Hall as a training location and provides a public club contact. That local base should be distinguished from venues used when members travel to competitions.
A January 2025 report by St Abban's Athletic Club records Barrow Valley taking part in its indoor track-and-field championships in Nenagh, alongside other invited athletes. This provides a documented example of the club's indoor athletics activity; it does not make Nenagh its regular training base or transfer the host club's achievements to Barrow Valley.
New and renewing members can use the club's Athletics Ireland registration page. Prospective athletes and families should contact the listed club representative to check age groups, session times and available places, since those details are not established by the directory entry alone. A founding date and named historical athletes remain unconfirmed in the sources reviewed.
