About Ardattin A.C.
Ardattin Athletics Club is based in Ardattin, County Carlow, Ireland. Athletics Ireland lists it as a mixed club, with a training location at Cranns in Ardattin and an online membership route. Its place in the county's athletics community extends beyond one venue: coach Barry Byrne contributed to Athletics Ireland's May 2026 feature on the Carlow Training and Development Group.
That county collaboration gives athletes aged twelve and over an additional way to train with peers, bringing sprint and endurance groups together at SETU in Carlow. The programme complements local clubs rather than replacing them, with an emphasis on retaining teenagers in sport and developing coaches. For Ardattin membership, use the club's Athletics Ireland joining route and confirm local session arrangements before attending. SETU is the shared county programme's venue, not a replacement address for every Ardattin session.
