About An Ríocht A.C.
An Ríocht Athletic Club was founded in 1975 in Castleisland, County Kerry, Ireland. Years of local fundraising helped build its athletics and leisure complex at Crageens. The floodlit 400-metre track provides a home for training and competition, serving juvenile, senior and masters athletes from the area.
The athletics programme includes track and field, cross-country and road running, with separate juvenile groups and advice for adults choosing a training group. The wider site also has a gym and fitness classes, but athletics-club membership and leisure-centre membership should not be assumed to be the same. Prospective members can use the Athletics Ireland club listing or ask the club about the programme that suits them.
