About AMS Triathlon
AMS Triathlon, also known as Activ Multi Sport, was formed in March 2011 in the Dublin 7 and Dublin 15 areas of Ireland. Its catchment stretches from Cabra towards Ratoath. Members take on sprint triathlons and longer races, but the club also makes room for standalone swimming, running and cycling, adventure races, aquathlons and duathlons.
Its published training information describes a network of venues rather than one clubhouse: pools in Cabra, Blanchardstown and Coolmine, running in Phoenix Park and at track facilities, and group rides. Some of that material refers to older seasons, so prospective members should ask for the current calendar before choosing a session.
Information evenings and social gatherings sit alongside the sporting programme. Joining is arranged through the club and Triathlon Ireland, with a public enquiry email for initial questions. The website records that the junior section was put on hold in 2023; a current junior intake has not been confirmed, so families should enquire rather than assume a place is available.
