Steve Jones
Biography
Steve Jones is the Welsh marathon runner whose Chicago victories helped shape British distance running. He set a world record in 1984 and returned to win in 2:07:13 in 1985, a British record later surpassed by Mo Farah. Jones also won the 1985 London Marathon in 2:08:16. This profile is separate from the younger North Staffs runner of the same name.
