Biography

Dina Levačić is a Croatian marathon swimmer from Split, born on 14 March 1996. She began swimming as a young child and describes a two-kilometre event in Omiš at nine as her first official open-water swim. By thirteen she had completed the Faros Marathon. Six seasons on the FINA Grand Prix circuit followed, culminating in third place overall in 2016.

Her move into individual channel challenges in 2017 brought an English Channel crossing that completed the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming in 84 days. The CSA records her England-to-France finish on 17 September in 11 hours 42 minutes, with Fred Mardle aboard Masterpiece and observer Jim Taylor. ILDSA's later Triple Crown summary instead reports 11 hours 41 minutes; that discrepancy remains visible. The CSA also awarded her its 2017 Swimmer from a New Country honour.

Levačić completed the North Channel in 2022 and the Oceans Seven in 2023. A ratified Bristol Channel swim that August completed her Original Triple Crown, alongside an Irish Triple Crown that year. Her swimming is also connected with charitable work and her educational rehabilitation studies. In 2024 her 104 Dalmatians project explored the islands of the Adriatic. IMSHOF recognises her as an Honor Swimmer in its Class of 2025.
