Biography
Alex Barbour, also recorded as Alexandra Barbour, is a British distance runner and steeplechaser who competes for Belgrave Harriers in road and cross-country events. Her track record includes 10:19.67 for the 3000m steeplechase at Oregon State in April 2023, 9:25.70 for 3000m at Watford in April 2024 and 4:27.16 for 1500m in June 2024. On the road, she ran 16:21 for 5km at the 2024 Podium Festival. She has also represented Windsor, Slough, Eton and Hounslow in track competition and was selected for England in the 2000m steeplechase at the 2024 Manchester International.
On 31 October 2026, she ran the second leg of Belgrave's silver-medal mixed team at the English National Cross Country Relays in Mansfield. Recorded as Alexandra Barbour in the official results, she completed her 1.6km leg in 5:24.423 as the team finished in 20:21.700.
