Katie Snowden
Biography
Katie Snowden is a British middle-distance runner representing Herne Hill Harriers. She joined the club in 2006 and developed from an English Schools 800m champion into a senior international. Snowden won the British 1500m title in 2023, reached the Tokyo Olympic 1500m semifinals and placed eighth in the 2023 World Championships final in Budapest. Her 1500m best of 3:56.72 came in the Budapest semifinal, while her 800m best of 1:58.00 was set at the 2023 London Athletics Meet. She has also competed internationally indoors and on the road, including eighth place in the 3000m at the 2026 World Indoor Championships. On 31 October 2026, Snowden anchored Herne Hill's first senior women's National Cross Country Relay title, alongside Lucy Jones and Sophie Tooley, in her twentieth year with the club.
