Biography
Enzo Yáñez is a Chilean distance runner and the 2017 South American marathon champion. He won the championship race in Temuco in 2:18:39, having set his marathon best of 2:17:35 there the previous year. Yáñez competed in the Rio 2016 Olympic marathon, finishing in 2:27:47. His career also includes national titles in track events and steeplechase, a 10,000 metres best of 29:43.99 and a half marathon best of 1:04:37.
