Biography
Amanuel Mesel is an Eritrean distance runner who has competed at the Olympics in both the 5000 metres and marathon. He raced in the London 2012 5000 metres heats and finished 21st in the Rio 2016 marathon in 2:14:37. His bests include 13:16.25 for 5000 metres, 1:00:10 for the half marathon and 2:08:17 for the marathon. Mesel also finished seventh at the 2018 World Half Marathon Championships in Valencia.
